Chiang Mai Countryside Vespa Tour starts its exciting day with a visit to the Three Kings monument to meet your guide and fellow travellers.
During the Chiang Mai Countryside Vespa Tour, you will be embarking on a true adventure around the countryside of Chiang Mai.
Seated on the back of the Vespa with your guide, we travel through the city’s back lanes to a wholesale market, where we will sample some fruits. We then continue out of town to a quiet stretch of the Ping River, where we will stop for a cup of herbal tea and have a brief discussion about Thai agriculture.
Then, it’s time to head for the hills, winding up to higher elevations, cooler temperatures, and verdant landscapes, where we will visit flower and produce Thai farms.
While traveling, we will stop at a temple to learn about the history of Lana. After that, we will stop for coffee and take photos at a scenic viewpoint.
The Chiang Mai Countryside Vespa Tour remains an environmental project that involves the production of elephant poo paper.
The tour will proceed along a scenic road, offering numerous opportunities for picturesque photos, followed by a brief stop at a farm where you can learn about a social project for farmers and enjoy some refreshments or ice cream. After driving along the Ping River, stop for a delicious lunch of local dishes. The adventure continues with a ride along another beautiful road, then back to the city center.

All of our Thailand Vespa tours are kid-friendly! We have small helmets for the little ones, and our team loves welcoming younger riders on the tours.
Will it be cold in the mountains?
The weather will be significantly cooler in the mountains as we reach an elevation of around 1200 meters above sea level. Especially in the cool season (Nov-Feb), when temperatures can drop below 10°C (50°F), we recommend dressing in layers.
What is the elephant project you visit?
As part of our commitment to wildlife protection, our tour includes a stop at an environmental project where we make paper from elephant poo. Experiencing the traditional process of making paper is delightful.
