An afternoon in Bang Por Village Koh Samui

You should add an afternoon in Bang Por Village, Koh Samui, to your list of must-do activities when visiting Koh Samui.

Bang Por Village, Koh Samui, is an underrated area, yet a fantastic village to spend an afternoon with friends and family. Coconut trees, a variety of restaurants, funky beach cafes, and coffee shops fringe the beach.

Bang Por Village is one of my favorite parts of the island, both during the day and at sunset. Why? I spent an afternoon at Bang Por Village, Koh Samui!

Firstly, it is a big yes for seafood lovers because, in my opinion, it has the best local seafood restaurants in Koh Samui. The best seafood restaurants in Samui are Krua Bangpor and Bangpor Seafood.

Secondly, it’s a beautiful, peaceful village with a beach offering a chilled-out vibe.

Thirdly, it’s lined with cool beach cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants offering varied cuisine – Italian, Indian, Seafood, and Thai food.

Bang Por is a great place to take in the beautiful sunset at the Lay Lagom Cafe Bar (images above) or Krua Bang Por Seafood Restaurant (see images above).
