When is the best time for scuba diving in Phuket?

Phuket is an all-year destination for scuba divers. No matter the time of the year there is always some good diving to be enjoyed. However, the main diving season here is similar to the main tourist season in Thailand.

Usually, the best conditions for diving around Phuket are from November to April.

This is the time of the year when there is the least chance of rain and storms. The sea is mostly flat, the sun is shining and the water is a beautiful blue.

For onward travel around Southern Thailand to Koh Tao, Koh Samui, Khao Lak, and Koh Lanta, we can organise additional diving trips with our other dive centre partners.

IMPORTANT! – Flying After Diving

When planning onward travel from Phuket, please note that SSI and PADI recommends a minimum interval of 18 hours after making multiple dives.
