Samui Explorer mission is simple, but sometimes difficult!

Working with visitors arriving in Thailand for the first time can be difficult. This is simply because their expectations can be somewhat high, forgetting that they’re in Thailand however this is Thailand and many of the businesses, do not apply the same standards as other Countries, and this frustrates tourists/visitors.

The other aspect is that they give incorrect advice or miss information on which tours are best suited for them, which causes anger and disappointment.

Samui Explorer thrives on making each customer tour, a good one, by choosing the correct tour for them, based on budget, family groups, and expectations, and giving them honest information regarding each tour, so there are no surprises on the day and disappointment.

Tour operators frequently say that our customers are always nice, this is believed to be true because they are given honest advice from the initial contact, the tour is as stated and they’re fully aware of how the day will unfold.

We can’t control what happens whilst our customers are on tour, but I can recommend the tours/operators that I have 99% confidence that they will offer a good service to the best of their ability on the day.

As part of our service, we offer free advice, recommendation on restaurants, bars and off the beaten track places to visit. Where possible we take the time to explore the Island for new places to see, and new restaurants or bars opened to keep the Island interesting for our customers.

Therefore Samui Explorer Reviews from our Happy Customers are not only because the enjoyment on a tour, but the service before or after their tours.

Below was a review sent to me following a surprise Wedding proposal from our customer’s partner. He emailed me secretly after she arranged tailor-made tours, and asked could we change the Itinerary and add in a romantic spot. And so we did!

Another customer contacted me months before arriving on Koh Samui for a family holiday. This had been a long awaited holiday to the Island and really wanted it to be perfect. We spent many emails back and forth getting her tailor-made tour perfect and choosing the right boat tour for her family

Just want to say thank you once again for your help in making our trip to Koh Samui so memorable. Nong was the best tour guide and knew so much about the Island. He was great with our kids and just a lovely person. Was a pleasure meeting him.
Blue Star was fantastic. We enjoyed this very much and so did our kids. They are very organised and professional. The staff are wonderful people, and great with the kids. We all loved the kayaking and would definitely do it again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our time on Koh Samui and have just fell in love with the Island. We will definitely be back.

A fantastic experience.

What an amazing day out and experience during our trip to Thailand. We had two young children with us and our driver was very considerate and helpful to check we were all okay and safe and to chat with our children throughout the trip.
The trip took us to all of the sites that had been mentioned in the itinerary and we were given as much time as we wanted at each spot, never once feeling pressured to move on or to spend longer. Our guide was informative about each of the sites but didn’t bombard us with information – the perfect balance.
There were a couple of stops at cafe’s where you could cool off and enjoy a drink or lunch.
The secret garden was lovely – just remember some money to pay for your entry.
This was an amazing experience with beautiful views and something our children still talk about. This trip enables you to see areas of the island that you would not be able to see otherwise.Highly recommend booking onto the smaller, more private tour if you can as the cheaper tours from other companies looked rather squashed in the back of the jeep.Thank you for an amazing trip – highly recommended.

“Nice island tour”

We booked an island tour on very short notice with Samui Explorer.
E-mail contact was easy and very friendly with Michelle. Our preferred date was not available which was actually the day after we placed our request.
But an alternative was found soon and Michelle booked our guide and filled our program beside the things we requested to see.

Mr. Nong picked us up on time at our hotel and started our sightseeing tour. Nong is very friendly, knowledgeable about Koh Samui and easy to talk to. He was really outgoing and you could ask him whatever you wanted. Even private stuff.

We did out tour as arranged by Michelle and made a few adjustments with Nong which he had no problem with.

Five hours later after seeing the main attractions, Nong drop us off again at the hotel lobby.
He’s a good driver, respectful and we felt in good hands all the time.

Maybe important to know but that does not affect the service anyway. Samui Explorer is only an office and the broker of the tour guide. They don’t provide the tours under their name Samui Explorer but arrange full private tours with local guides.

Would book again with Samui Explorer as the guide they booked for us was very good and the price is too.

5-star 5-hour private tour!

As I had a short stay in Koh Samui, choosing Samui Explorer for a 5-hour private tour around the island proved to be an excellent choice. Communicating with Michelle, our tour guide, was very easy and her proposals included both local and touristy views. She also explained to us a lot of things regarding thai mentality. It was value for money and well worth it and I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

Private Tour of Koh Samui Temples and Attractions.

Michelle from Samui Explorer arranged a bespoke private tour for my wife and I to visit the local temples and Koh Samui Landmarks.
Our tour guide was Mr Nong and he was BRILLIANT. We travelled in his air conditioned car and had plenty of time to explore on our own with the added benefit of our knowledgeable guide.
Mr Nong is a careful driver and we felt safe at all times whilst being driven around the island.
When we had finished viewing the attractions Mr Nong was always close-by to the vehicle ready to answer our questions and drive to the next place.
The highlight of our tour included a visit to The Big Buddha and nearby temple were we enjoyed feeding the fish. By the end of the tour we had seen all the attractions on our wish list and also had time for lunch in the capitol (Nathon).
Mr Nong gave us a restaurant recommendation at no profit to himself and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced at 500 baht for two persons including drinks.
Seriously its not worth hiring a car when you can have a reasonable priced private guided tour with Samui Explorer and Mr Nong.
I don’t normally write reviews, But in this case I have made an exception and would highly recommend you use Samui Explorer for all your tour requirements on Koh Samui.
