The Rural Thai Experience is just that, the chance to experience the Thai way of life, staying at Baan Farang บ้าน ฝรั่ง in a rural Thai village.
Baan Farang บ้าน ฝรั่ง is located in Surat Thani Province, Southern Thailand. Perfectly located midway from Koh Samui and Krabi making it a convenient stopover for those looking for an adventure.
The Rural Thai Experience will involve a 2 to 3-night stay at Baan Farang บ้าน ฝรั่ง Homestay located in a small village named, Phra Seang in Surat Thani Province. It is located in-between Koh Samui and Krabi.
The accommodation is a mud hut made from materials taken from and around our land, or Glamping tent with a decking area to relax and an outside adjoining bathroom.
The building and planning have been carried out by my husband Komsan (Jack), Paw Keow ( Jacks dad). and myself Michelle (British)
Our mission is to offer an authentic Thai rural village experience, giving a sense of the true Thailand.
Learn and understand Thai culture, authentic Thai food, and about the Thai way of life, away from the tourist destinations.
Where possible the living comforts at Baan Farang บ้าน ฝรั่ง Homestay will be as authentic as we can possibly make, ensuring that our guests are comfortable and enjoy The Thai Rural Experience at Baan Farang บ้าน ฝรั่ง Homestay.
The inside of the mud hut is comfortable, with a cozy feel. The Glamping tent is comfortable, with a decking area, chars and tables to relax. The bathroom is adjoining the Glamping housing

Western comforts will include a flushing toilet and a comfortable soft mattress. Such comforts you will rarely find off the tourist track throughout Thailand.
The Rural Thai Experience will include a list of activities that you can choose to do, this may vary from season due to dry weather or monsoon season.
Pricing to be inclusive of an authentic Thai breakfast, lunch and evening meal.
If transfers are required from Phuket, Krabi, Khao Sok, Koh Samui and Suratthani this can be arranged at an additional fee
Within Baan Farang บ้าน ฝรั่ง we have a restaurant and bar with comfortable seating around the grounds.
