Cancellation, terms, and conditions

  • Please notify us immediately of any changes or cancellations. Upon receipt, we will set this day as the cancellation date and apply the following terms:
  • If the departure date is more than 30 days away, you will receive a 90% refund.
  • If the departure date is less than 30 days away, you will receive a 50% refund.
  • If the departure date is less than 7 days away, there will be no refund.
  • The captain has the right to alter or cancel the trip day due to unforeseen circumstances such as equipment breakage or failure, weather, or water routes that are unsafe to operate in.
  • If we have to cancel your trip, we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund.
  • In the event of non-compliance with the laws or safety rules on board, we reserve the right to cancel the ongoing cruise, and no refund will be possible.
  • MAXIMUM CAPACITY: Responsibility for children’s health of the charterer’s party: The charterer shall not, at any time during the charter period, permit more than the maximum number of guests staying, sleeping, or cruising on board, plus, subject to the approval of the captain at his sole discretion, a responsible number of visitors while the yacht is securely moored in a port.
  • The charterer is solely and fully responsible for the conduct or entertainment of any children brought on board.
  • The charterer understands and acknowledges that the nature of a charter may not be suitable for individuals with physical disabilities or those undergoing or having undergone medical treatment.
  • By signing this agreement, the charterer, on behalf of himself and all his associates and/or guests, guarantees sufficient medical fitness for all participants in the voyage under consideration.
  • The charterer, along with all his associates and/or guests, bears the sole and complete responsibility for obtaining and ensuring the necessary vaccinations and visas for the countries they plan to visit during the voyage.
  • Charterers may swim at their own risk: Hype provides life jackets. If you don’t wear a life jacket, we won’t hold you accountable for any potential incident.
  • CREW: The owner will provide a suitable, qualified captain acceptable to the yacht’s insurers and a suitably experienced crew, properly uniformed, trained, and insured (“crew”).
  • DAMAGES: The charterer himself shall be liable for any damages, costs, or losses caused to the yacht.
